Switching to electric comes with many benefits: a great driving experience, fuel savings, and zero tailpipe emissions. But recent data shows that some EV owners are still going back to gasoline. What does the road ahead look like?

If you're looking to purchase a new electric car, the latest industry data from Kelley Blue Book shows that EVs have essentially reached price parity with gasoline cars. The average transaction price of a new EV has dropped over 23 percent compared to 2022. 

Hot on the heels of introducing a new entry-level Model Y with rear-wheel drive, Tesla has dropped prices across the board for the Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV. Eligible for the $7,500 federal tax rebate, they are even better value than before.

Hyundai is the latest automaker to announce its North American models will adopt the Tesla NACS charging port. Starting in late 2024, drivers of Hyundai EVs will have access to over 12,000 Tesla superchargers. The company will also offer adapters for its existing owners.

Tesla has announced a new entry-level version of the world's best-selling car, the Model Y SUV. The new Model Y RWD has an EPA-estimated range of 260 miles and a very attractive value proposition.
