Lightyear, the Dutch company pioneering solar-powered electric vehicles, has just announced a more affordable model due on U.S. streets in 2025. The Lightyear 2 can charge from solar as well as the grid. It has a claimed 500-mile range and a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette.
