If you drive a Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, or Hummer electric vehicle, charging on the road is about to get a lot more convenient. Starting now, GM is offering access to the Tesla Supercharger network to its EV drivers.

If you spend a lot of time on the road, you've probably come across a Pilot or Flying J travel center. Now, together with General Motors and charging provider EVgo, the first of 2,000 high-speed chargers are opening at Flying J stops across the country.

Starting in 2024, drivers of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac electric cars will be able to access Tesla's excellent network of high-speed Superchargers. The brands will also adopt Tesla's charging port in 2025.

Electric cars all have one thing in common: batteries. And electric batteries all need one thing: lithium. With a major investment in the largest lithium operation in the U.S., General Motors is securing its supply chain - and should be able to churn out a million EV batteries per year.

GMC sold out of its all-electric mega-wagon Hummer EVs in just ten minutes. The company opened reservations for its new zero emission Godzilla-sized SUV on October 20 as part of the vehicle’s global debut and several thousand buyers were put on the waiting list.
